Ques1. Tell us about your background? about your education,family background Or archivements...
Ans: I went to a boarding school, scindia school in gwalior and graduated in biotchnology from indore. I came back to mumbai to live with my parents after graduation and joined Fame Adlabs, a cinema chain in Mumbai.. Where I used was a guest relations executive and i used to sell tickets to celebrities. Bharat n Doris spotted me while i was working at fame and asked me to participatein in Miss India. My mum always wanted to see me as a Miss India and so Pursued the title and won since then.. My life changed entirely.
Ques2. Before winning the prestigious title of Miss India Universe 2008, Did you ever think of entering the film industry?
Ans: I had no plans of entering the film industry. But after winning Miss India.. Acting was the next logical step. If Miss India is school then acting is graduation. Lets see what the future holds for me now.
Ques3. Best of Luck is your Debut Film In Punjabi Industry, how was the feeling when you came in front of the camera for the first time?
Ans: Best of Luck is the 2nd film I have worked on. Yes it is my Punjabi debut. But before BOL I had my hindi debut in 2011 opp Sunny Gill in a movie called Jo Hum Chahein. And after Bol I have signed a Balaji and Bejoy nambiar co production called Kuku Mathur Ki Jhand hogayi. and a south project called Potugau. both are slated to release this year as a model and Miss India u face cameras all the time. Camera is my first love and i cannot get enough of it. The first time I faced the camera.. I was super excited.
Ques4. What’s the story, and what character you play in it?
Ans: In BOL my characters name is Preet. She is fun loving and very down to earth. she is a romantic at heart.
Ques5. Simran is there any incident in the film that you would never forget?
Ans: I celebrated my b'day on the sets of BOL.. That was very special and one of my best b'day ever.
Ques6. What are your future plans?
Ans: I take one day at a time.. What the future holds for me.. You'll know when i know.
