Ques:1. Tell us something about yourself to our visiters, about your education and family background...
Ans:1. I'm born and brought up in Switzerland, yes that is the country where all the Yash Chopra films are made My mother tongue is German and I speak English, Hindi, punjabi and French as well. I've studied acting for 3 years and have been acting on and off for the past 8 years. My family is originally from Yupi / Illhabad but I've personally never lived there.
Ques:2. Tell us something about your Debut movie "Punjab Bolda" ?
Ans:2. Punjab Bolda is going to be my first feature film which I will be acting in as the lead. Punjab Bolda is the story of our new Punjab! It is a film about a new revolution which Punjab and India is going through, facing corruption, Drug abuse, Rape cases or women's abuse. It is a film, which deals with the current issues in our country, not only Punjab.
Ques:3. What’s your role in the movie?
Ans:3. I'm playing the role of a Reporter/Tv Anchor in Punjab, who meets with a Theater group which is led by Gurbaaz (sarabjit Cheema) and whose main aim is to enlighten and tell people about the current issues in our country and try to convince them to fight against these issues. I support him and spread this message through news and media.
Ques:4. "Punjab Bolda" marks your debut. Where else have you worked before?
Ans:4. I'm an actress and always seek for opportunities to pursue my passion. I have done many plays and short films before this film came to me And I liked the script and always wanted to do a film with a very strong message which also the title "PUNJAB BOLDA" carries with it! And here I am
Ques:5. How was your experience with the star cast at the sets?
Ans:5. It was great working with Sarabjit Cheema and the rest of the crew and cast. For this is my first feature film, I could learn a lot from the rest of the cast but I think I picked up pretty fast and I think I'm not wrong if I say that most of the crew and cast enjoyed working with me.
Ques:6. Any memorable moment from the sets of the Film ?
Ans:6. My most fond memory while shooting for the film was the day when we shot for our first love song "Teri Meri Jodi"! It was during the day and extremely hot. We shot on the fields and I had the opportunity to wear the traditional Punjabi costume and eventually becoming the real "Punjabi kudi"! This song alone is a very catchy and a very happy go lucky song!! I hope everyone enjoys watching and listening to that song as much as I did!
Ques:7. After Punjab Bolda Film whats ur next projects...
Ans:7. I'm in talks with couple of more projects but nothing has been finalized as of now. I'm waiting for good projects to come my way because I feel as an actress I have to believe and be truthful to which ever character I am portraying. I love theatre as well and have just finished a play which was directed by Makrand Deshpande. Let's see what my destiny has in store for me!
